Information

Conference Venue

The event will take place at the Paul VI Audience Hall, which is located within Vatican City State. Access to the State will be through the entrance known as the "Petriano," which is the gateway that borders the Piazza del Sant'Uffizio and is guarded by the Pontifical Swiss Guard. In order to gain access to both the Vatican City State and the Paul VI Audience Hall, it will be necessary to have the appropriate identification PASS, which will be given to participants at the time of accreditation (see below). It is important to know that any access to Vatican City State will require submitting to police checks, which is why we advise you to arrive well in advance and to avoid bringing improper items with you.

In addition, there will be volunteers from the Dicastery available throughout the entirety of the event for any potential needs.

Participant Accreditation

Participant accreditation for the conference, with the issuing of the identification PASS necessary to access the Paul VI Audience Hall, will take place at the 2025 Jubilee Infopoint at Via della Conciliazione 7 (ground floor), a short walk from St. Peter's Basilica, from Tuesday, November 7 to Thursday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Certificate of Attendance

Those registered for the Conference who are interested in receiving a certificate of attendance may request it at the time of registration or accreditation. This Section of the Dicastery will ensure that the certificate is sent to those interested only in digital format to the e-mail address provided at the time of registration.

Simultaneous Translation

Simultaneous translation will be available during the Conference sessions in the following languages: French, English, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. At the entrance of the Paul VI Audience Hall, at the beginning of each session, headsets will be available and distributed to the participants upon the required presentation of a valid identity document. This document will be returned to the holder upon return of the headset.

Celebration of the Holy Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica

On Friday November 10, the liturgical feast of St. Leo the Great, who is buried at St. Peter's Basilica in the Chapel of Our Lady of the Pillar, a concelebration of the Holy Mass at the Altar of the Chair is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. We recommend being in the Basilica already by 8 a.m.

The Bishops who wish to concelebrate are requested to bring their white mitre. The vestments for the concelebration will be provided at the Sacristy.

Priests who wish to concelebrate should bring with them an alb and white stole. The Sacristy of the Basilica will not provide vestments to priests.
