Today in Manila the inauguration took place of the new Lasallian Institute for Evangelization and Catechesis in the presence of Archbishop Fisichella
On 27 February 2024, in the presence of the Pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, Archbishop Rino Fisichella, the De La Salle University of Manila, marked the re-naming of the Lasallian Catechetical Center, which will now be known as the Lasallian Institute for Evangelization and Catechesis. Also unveiled was the new logo of the institute. The center has as its mission the evangelization of young people through education, the study of new paths for Evangelization and the deepening of understanding of the ministry of Catechist.
Other speakers at the relaunch included the president of the University, Br. Raymundo B. Suplido, the Superior General of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, Br. Armin Luistro, the chaplain Br. Alejandro Mijangos and the director Dr. Lysander P. Rivera.
