DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY 2022
On April 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Peter's Basilica, Pope Francis will preside at the Eucharistic Concelebration for Divine Mercy Sunday (Domenica in albis). This year's celebration will be enriched by the presence in St. Peter's of the Missionaries of Mercy, from more than twenty countries, who will be in Rome for their Third International Meeting. The year 2022 will also mark the 20th anniversary of the solemn entrustment of the world to Divine Mercy by Pope St. John Paul II, which took place on Saturday, August 17, 2002, during his pastoral visit to the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Kraków - Łagiewniki, Poland.
Tickets for the celebration – which, as always, are free of charge, may be obtained by making a reservation on the web page of the Pontifical Council for the Promotion of the New Evangelization (www.pcpne.va). Once reserved, such tickets may be collected from the Palazzo San Pio X, 7 Via della Conciliazione – 00193 ROMA, on the following days:
Thursday, April 21, 2022 (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.),
Friday, April 22, 2022 (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)
Saturday, April 23, 2022 (9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.).
